It’s very disheartening to be dragging your butt home at 10:00 at night, having been at the polls since 6 AM to ensure a fair election. To know that your precinct’s votes aren’t in– that your whole county’s aren’t in– and to hear the governor making a concession speech to Mr. Schwartzenneger.
Very disheartening, indeed.
And when I came home, the Cubs had lost.
