Weekend

Craft day was fun– stayed up until 3:20 in the morning, which was grande. I worked on a crochet blanket I’m making for one of the kids, and I started a chunky double-yarn crocheted blanket that’s turning out to be huge! I think I need to cut it in half and join the halves– blankets do not need to be 12′ long.

I stayed on program this weekend. I had pizza Saturday night. I planned for and ate 2 slices– and that’s it. I feel very proud of that.

I also cut and dyed my hair this weekend:

John got home yesterday at around 4:00, at which time I went to bed for 3 hours. I made myself dinner, snacked on fruit, and finished the evening with popcorn– all within my WW points. Go, me.

This morning, I’m going to walk on the treadmill (as soon as I get off the computer).

Oh, we saw Sweet and Lowdown last night on the Independent Film Channel. Um…. the IFC is a good channel, but it was a pretty sucky movie. It was a character-driven story, which would have been fine, except that in the middle of the film, Woody Allen decided to make the audience doubt the narrators. Which would be fine, except it wasn’t a story that needed an unreliable narrator.

Ah, well.

And the Cubs won yesterday. Meaning they play the Marlins on Tuesday.

Life is pretty fucking good.
