Chuckle

My favorite comment thread this week. Let’s all give a hand for being a good sport!

I bought a new purse last night after work, and a new wallet. Both are very small– I might be able to fit a NaNoWriMo small notebook in the purse somewhere, but not the big journally book I’ve been using for my notes. They’re also very cute– I like them!

This weekend’s plan/schedule:

Today/Tonight:
Call in cat prescription.
Call gamers re: food tomorrow night.
Make appt. at Honda for finishing the car work, and to “discuss” the 60 miles driven last time.
Call Verizon and change phone #.
Bring guitar home.
Declutter the piano.
Practice.
Watch movie and have dinner with John.
Walk for 10 minutes on treadmill.

Tomorrow:
Walk for 15 minutes on treadmill.
Drive John and Ken up to the park at 10.
Pick up cat’s prescription.
Get groceries.
Vacuum.
Declutter the table near the door.
Move chairs out of the living room and into the garage
Drop off guitar.
Go to Ross/Cost Plus

Brush up on game notes, do some reading.
Practice.
Do dishes
Play game.

Sunday:
Walk for 15 minutes on treadmill.
Do a shoe purge of shoes in my closet.
Contact people to update my cell # with them.
Pick up John and Ken.
Practice.
Do dishes

Things I want to do this weekend, but might not get to
Mail a notebook out
Crafting for Halloween
Crocheting the blanket [perhaps I will save this and focus on it next weekend]
Read the book on novel plotting
Write a bit
Put the remaining 2 boxes of books away in my office

Other projects (not this weekend, but Soon)
Go through boxes of “S. Office” things and put them away or get rid of them.
Clean out my office closet, reorganize it, install better file management system.
Find a home for my CDs (which have outgrown the tower I have for them right now– maybe a short media case?)
Break down the moving boxes in the garage
List dolls on eBay. Look into Auctiondrop for other various items…. (speakers?)
Donate books to the library
Give things to friends, as determined
Donate the other stuff to wherever (*shrug*).
Wash the dog
Wash and vacuum the car
Re-order checks (after next payday)
Finish notes on Obe’s physiology, evolution
Write/outline a plot for the novel
Visit the Monterey Aquarium, for cephalopod physiology ideas
Catch up on any paperwork on my desk
Find all the missing sci fi mags from 1996 to present (I know I have them here somewhere….)
Finish catching up on reading sci fi mags (I’ve only got about 2 years to slog through!)

Oh, my, that’s a long list!

My method for preventing identify theft

Here’s my super-secret method for preventing identity theft online.

Most people trying to steal my identity will end up at my LiveJournal, which they will mine for information.

My “plan” (and it seems to be working) is to fill my journal with so much fluff, that potential identity thieves will be bored to death in reading it. This will result in one fewer identity theif in the world, and I will be safe.

Quizilla, Friday Fives, and every lame meme that makes the rounds must go into my journal, posted immediately. I must post every 2 hours, plus after meals, to keep the posting rates high, high, high!

Only then will we all be safe!

Disclaimer: This process does not actually work. Author makes no claims of being able to prevent identity theft at all.
