My 12th anniversary is coming up.

John’s going to be out Jeeping. I thought about asking him not to go, so I’d be more comfortable, but– damn if I’m going to let someone else’s crime ruin my husband’s life, 12 years later now.

So, what to do?

Well, I think I’m going to stay home. I thought about going up to my aunt and uncle’s house for the weekend, if they’re in town, but I’ve decided instead that I might want to stay home and not arrange for extra pet care or anything.

Is anyone else thinking “Big Craft Weekend at Mortaine’s House?”

Yeah. I *thought* so.

I’m thinking of inviting all my local crafting female friends over to pull an all-night crafting/sewing spree/sleepover. Kind of like a quilting bee, but with more rum. Up for it? Comment or email.
I’m definitely going to finish two crafting projects that weekend, though I haven’t decided which two. Just– I absolutely will finish two projects that I’ve already started (the crocheted blanket and the turtle hat? Perhaps!)

I will be back at work today. Which means less flooding of my friends’ pages, less Support, and more actually doing things that are relevant to the real world, supposedly.
