Hats, Support, and Pirates

Bought two black hats at lunch today. Probably should have bought the brown one (same style) instead of the second black one– might exchange it tomorrow.

They’re purty. And appropriate for Fall, which is what I’m aiming for– the pastel hat does not work for Fall. Nope. The other two hats are OK for Fall, though one is white and therefore a bit more summery.

I’m starting to focus a bit on comms and embedding in Support now. I’ve even answered a comms and an embedding question (one each) this week! Now that I’m all uber-spiffy in Web and Gunk, I’ve decided to branch out a bit. Also, I’m going to still do reviews some, but I’m taking a break from mentoring for a while.

Played the harp today for a little bit– Away in the Manger. Nothing much to say about that, except I suck, but could get much better if I practiced regularly (as in, more often than once a month!)

Yesterday’s piano lesson: They say you learn something new everyday. What I learned yesterday is that what I’d done the day before was wrong– I’ve been reading the notes wrong (gah!), and apparently, despite asking for confirmation last week, I missed one of the assigned songs, so I have to start practicing it, too. Guh.

And just a reminder: Tomorrow is Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Not today. TOMORROW.
