I got to work this morning at 6:45. This gave me the liberty of printing out the whole manual without any interruptions– I was done by 7:30, and went out for breakfast until 8. It was lovely– even got to chat with my sister for a bit.
Bought plane tix to Missouri for august 24-28th, so I can be there for Austin’s birthday.
Went to Gryphon yesterday with , who was very cool and patient about my bounciness! She bought music stand and foot stand (did you also get the oud/guitar stand?) I bought dulcimer strings and some picks, just for fun.
Afterwards, we went to ColdStone Creamery with . Okay, ColdStone Creamery can put the ice cream cravings out of anyone– seriously. For several hours, I kept feeling like I still had ice cream in my mouth– it was very disturbing. Yummy, but…. oog.
And then a stop at Fry’s so could look at car speakers. It was a very geek-girl evening, lemme tell ya.
When I got home, I was so tired, I just ate a little bit of cheese and crackers, put the new string on the dulcimer, and went to bed. Good thing I’d practiced in the car waiting for yesterday afternoon, or else I’d have missed out!
