John and I saw XMen 2 last night. I had a coupon from the DVD of XMen 1.5, so I got in for free (yay!)
It was good. I won’t spoil it for anyone. I enjoyed it. I especially liked the fact that there was no one there. I know that Monday nights are going to be kid-filled all summer long, but last night was also the first night of the circus, which was competing for our locals’ attention just 2 blocks away. So there were all of 6 people in the theatre, I think, all of them adults. And we got there just a minute before the previews started– it was great.
I definitely want to see The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen this summer. Yeah. Looks terrific.
I might wait for Hulk to either see it with Austin or get it on DVD, as the effects shown in the preview did not quite look right to me.
