Sestina Word Group Poll!

Congratulations! I knew you all could come through for me! I got 21 suggestions in the Sestina words poll!

Now for the second poll– which set of words that you have suggested will I use to write my sestina?

Well, of course LiveJournal can’t handle a poll question of more than 15 items, so you get three votes for the set of words I should use. Whichever set of 6 words gets the most votes will be the one I use. In the event of a tie, a run-off poll will be created (do not make this a 21-way tie, please).

Remember: you do not have to vote for any item– you can leave a question unselected and unanswered and still submit your poll results without errors. You can vote once in Selection A, once in Selection B, and once in Selection C.

Polling ends Friday, March 7, 10:30 AM (PST), about 48 hours from now.

Can you think of six words?

I find it absolutely tragic that in over 24 hours, my poll asking for 6 words has been answered by only two people. Two! Come on, folks– you can do better than that!

All you have to do is come up with six words. . . . . they don’t even have to be good words. They don’t have to rhyme. The challenge is on me to make them into the poem, remember?

When you’re ready to fill it out, the poll is here

Tomorrow at 5:00 P.M., I’ll post the poll results as a new poll for you to decide on which set of six words I should turn into a sestina.

So go give me some words, baby! You know what I like! Oooh, yeah.
