Believe it or not, except for a very few little forays, I haven’t tackled FFX (Final Fantasy X) in several months. Now Brian, from whom I borrowed it, would like it back in time for Christmas. Since I’ve had it for a little more than 6 months (longer than he possessed it!), I think it’s only fair to finish the game I’m on and return it to him.
I got bored wandering through Sin’s stomach, so I hopped back on the ship and detoured around Spira for a while. Ended up at Luca (where the blitzball tournament was held), where I found out I could make a movie sphere– so I did. And then I went through and watched all the beautiful movies, like Yuna diving backwards after her wedding (oh!) and the Yuna/Tidus scene (mmmm!) And I rode a chocobo! And found a few more Al Bhed primers and a couple more of Jecht’s spheres.
I really skipped a lot of the game when I went through it– basically, I ran past a lot of things. Of course, now I’m going back because I would really like to have Ultima– whatever that is (please don’t post any spoilers in comments!), and I need one more Level 4 Sphere for Auron to get it.
Yes, my sphere levels are all messed up– Yuna got Mug. Rikku still doesn’t have Mug, but Yuna got it. Go figure. And Rikku now has a Targe that lets her cast all spells at a cost of 1 mana point– and she has Hastega. Hee hee hee hee hee.
Anyway, I just got killed by what I hope is the last showdown. I think I can figure out how to defeat it, but I will probably need a little more practice to do so.
BTW: You don’t need to tell me to get a life. I already know, thanks.
And now, to bed. It’s midnight. I have a full day ahead of me. The dog has to go to the vet for his annual shots, I have to follow-up on a few things and do some apartment rental work, and I need to finish that durn Final Fantasy X game.
I know the shut-downs are a pain in the arse financially, but at least I get the days off– it’s better than taking a paycut and having to do the same amount of work.
