I did work out yesterday

I did my workout yesterday, as planned. I am not sore today. I will, however, need to bring a book if I’m going to keep running into Joey or Claver during my workouts. They like to have MTV on during their workouts, whereas I actually prefer something with either a plot or, well, any sort of brain activity. MTV is so mind-numbingly stupid, I have a hard time staying morivated when it’s on.

Plus, they like to have it on hip-hop, but with the volume balance screwed up so you can’t actually hear the vocals, just the music line. Very annoying– you basically see these guys up there and they look like they’re lip-synching cause the sound is so f-ed up.

This might actually be a hardware problem with the TV, cause I’ve noticed the sound is inconsistent at times, rather than an actual user preference on the part of Joey or Claver. Still– thumpa thumpa music played badly is not my idea of something that will keep my mind off of the excruciating discomfort know as running. When I’m walking, I can at least read (if I have a book, which I don’t today). But I’m not skilled enough to read and run yet.

Documentation Hell

So this goddamn chapter took twice as long to update, then twice as long to go through the approval process, because it’s an update to an existing book, and now I’m sitting here. even though I told them NO when they asked about 14 different times, about 14 different ways if I would update the ENTIRE fucking book instead of just that chapter, making PDFs of the entire fucking book with the updated chapter.

And basically, this is because ONE PERSON bitches and complains that she’s not happy with how the update is going. Well, sorry– I have to update the rest of the book in the next week and a half, including going through review (which usually takes, surprise, a week!) So basically, I’m doing this for a manual that will be obsolete in 15 days.

GRRRRRR!
