“They” are out to destroy my olfactory happiness.
This morning, a co-worker (the same one, I suspect, who eats gross-smelling food at work) did a hit-and-run with some sort of Chinese snack. It was so gross. It tastes something like the Broccoli with Cashew nut I had last night for dinner– not something I wanted to face at 10:00 in the morning.
Then, of course, at 11:30 was the obligatory fill-the-software-department with nasty smelling food smells.
Now, it smells like someone just dumped a half bottle of cheap perfume or cologne on him/herself.
Will these people never learn? I wish I worked in a scent-free office! Ack!
Oh, and of course my contact lens is bugging me again today. I don’t see any tears on it, but who knows? These Acuvue 2’s really suck when it comes to not ripping while they’re in my eyes!
STUDY!!!! My exam is November 9.
Oh, and have a doctor’s appointment. Sort through photos and mail them to Jenny. Clean the house, especially the bathroom. Draw on my map. Finish Final Fantasy X. Catch up on work. Prep for a D&D game. Cook dinner at night. Practice my dulcimer and try to build up a better habit.
Write. Work on a short story that’s been sitting for over a year. Work on a novel that hit me last month and which I haven’t worked on lately. Contact Dr. Engell about teaching in the Spring. Write a syllabus. Read science fiction & fantasy for fun.
Listen to music. Burn more CDs to the hard drive. Make a webbified photo album of digital pictures (including from the past 2 trips to MO). Take the dog to the park frequently. Pet the cat. Possibly get a second dog (shhh! Don’t tell John yet!) or maybe a third (there’s a pair of senior girls who should be homed together, but. . . . that might be a bit much, even for us. Ahem.
Sleep. Walk. Take long baths in my beautiful bathroom. Watch TV. Play video games and computer games. Forget to do my chores. Ignore laundry.
