Snubbed at work

It’s now 4:15. I have not been invited to lunch tomorrow by the tech writers.
Should I feel snubbed? They know it’s my birthday. The flowers John sent are a dead giveaway. I even mentioned it to one of the other writers today, when I put in my $1 for the Lotto pool (drawing is Saturday– I figure it’s got to be lucky!)
I know I’m a huge ego-maniac, but we treated everyone else with an August birthday (3 others!) to lunch, and pitched in for a gift.
Why should I feel this way?
