Not saying they’re done, but. . . .

OK, I’ve said several times over the past few weeks that the manuals are done. I am no longer saying that. All I’m going to say is that I’m NOT GOING TO CHANGE THEM!!! Bleah. I’ve been here at work until midnight WAY too many nights in the last 3 weeks. I’ve come in on Sundays, and came in for one Saturday.

Last night, I was here until midnight, finishing/fixing something that was a very late edit. I got home at about 1:30, and got up this AM at 7:30. I am almost useless today, I am so tired and sore from sitting in front of the computer all day.

I did give blood yesterday, which is always a good thing. It was like going to a spa– they paid so much attention to me, because last time I had a negative reaction (that’s what they call it when no blood comes out and you almost faint).

Two weeks ago, on a Sunday when I was supposed to come in to work, I started painting my bathroom, finally. I’ve had the plans and paint for over a year now, and I just started painting. I painted all that day, every evening that I was home that week, and last Saturday. I plan to paint also tonight after I get home and crash for a while, as well as tomorrow and Friday. I want the paint to be dry on the walls, the door painted and re-hung, and the drapes off the floor by this Saturday, when my friends come over. The cool thing about painting is that it counts as exercise for me, because it’s a lot of a movement and flexibility and work!

One of my friends is wheelchair-bound, so having a door on the bathroom and a clear floor are important to her comfort as a guest in my home– the other bathroom, which other guests can use if this one’s not ready, is not the easiest to get into and out of from a chair. Not that she would want me to be put out to accommodate her, or anything– she’d probably thank me, and then apologize for the inconvenience. In fact, that is exactly what she would do (and probably will when I see her this Saturday).
